Newly acquired injury reports from Spin scooter riders detail more serious crashes on Spin E-scooters
In an article by Ann Belser on Next Pittsburgh, she describes that while the company stressed that the number was few, riders who were injured suffered from broken bones, severe head injuries, and one woman, who did not report her injury to the company, suffered a lacerated liver from her fall.
The list of injuries reported by Spin was obtained through a Right-to-Know request filed with the City of Pittsburgh.
